Contractors, Plumbing, Remodeling « Thread Started on Jul 28, 2008, 2:28pm »
i have a phone number of a contractor i found at home depot (technically, he wasn't supposed to be advertising since he was an employee of home depot). he and his brother are dennis and john worrell (410.206.5158); i have no idea what quality of work they do, but dennis claimed they had done houses in the federal hill area. they are presumably relatively cheap.
i also got an estimate for bathroom remodeling from rebath, the official home depot-referred contractor. that was waaaay expensive--$5000 to replace my bathtub with a shower unit--but the quality of their materials is supposed to be pretty good and is cast in-house and is customizable (all acrylic, 1/4"?, no fiber glass).
that's all i know though, unfortunately. i want to redo my bathroom and kitchen countertops too but haven't quite got around to it. let me know if you find anyone!
on the other hand, if you're just talking about plumbing.... i do know a few of those. linthicum plumbing and around the clock plumbing were the two who serviced my house. i'd say both were decent.
